When I came to my current church in 2016, I had several kiddos with special needs that needed extra attention to help them develop in ministry and in knowledge of Jesus. I ended up coming up with this training with some help with our kids ministry with the help of Dr. Stephen "Doc" Hunsley of SOAR Ministries. I made it our own for my current church and I wanted to share so that you could use it as well in your contexts to see if you can implement some of these ideas to reach kiddos in your church that are neurodivergent, in foster care, or going through childhood trauma.
